How it works
Our complete neutrality means that our system has the flexibility for all types of staffing arrangement from the full range of suppliers, as selected by each Trust or Health Board.
Our VMS is used to manage tiered supply chains, release to agencies and to receive and review submitted CVs and compliance documents.
VMS can also supervise and control your desired rates ensuring adherence to framework or other types of rate cap as required. However, you never find yourself restricting care due to our system as override functionality is allowed for specific NHS staff, ensuring you can ultimately make the right decisions without any enforced restrictions. And once a shift is complete, electronic timesheets can be completed and approved with ease via your smartphone, tablet or computer, all with an audit trail for the peace-of-mind of locum and Trust / Health Board.

The system handles, but never dictates, your supply chain strategy – giving you total flexibility. You can choose to have a master vendor, primary supplier/s or a totally neutral set of agencies, or a variation of each across the various different categories and grades. Furthermore, it’s simple to change the supply chain strategy in the system, meaning you can make updates in line with supplier performance.
As every supplier action is recorded from accepting an assignment to submitting of CVs and compliance documents, you can track real-time performance and reward or penalise accordingly.
