Jon Bennett, Managing Director
As MD, Jon is responsible for leading Brookson Direct. Jon's passion for Healthcare and public services is demonstrated in his strategic support in staffing healthcare organisations in the UK, Middle East, North America and Asia. Jon believes that any successful staffing solution has to centre around brilliant people that are using best in class processes and technology and he strives to deliver this for all Brookson Direct customers.
Matt Fryer, Group Compliance Director
Matt is a Chartered Tax Advisor with 15 years’ experience advising individuals and companies on tax compliance and mitigation. Matt has been with Brookson for 6 years having previously worked for Big 4 accountants KPMG and PwC. As well as ensuring Brookson’s customers are operating compliantly, Matt also work closely with the compliance and finance teams to ensure compliance throughout the supply chain.
Ruth Ellis, Head of Client Solutions
Ruth has dedicated the majority of her 17 year career to creating and delivering innovative staffing programmes within the healthcare and social care sectors. Passionate about the NHS and customer service, Ruth works with Brookson Direct’s prospective clients to create tailored solutions that support improvements in the provision of care whilst delivering direct savings.
Carl Henning, Senior Solicitor
Carl Henning is a solicitor with Brookson Legal Services, specialising in Employment and Commercial law. He has significant experience in dealing with issues affecting the recruitment sector and contractors who use recruitment businesses to secure work. Having worked with independent consultants for over 10 years, Carl has substantial knowledge in employment status.
Lee Docherty, Outsource Services Manager
Lee has 5 years’ experience in the operational delivery of freelance and contractor intermediary services. A qualified Payroll Manager and graduate in English Literature, Lee joined Brookson as the Outsource Services Manager. Lee is responsible for the Operational Support and On-boarding teams within the Outsourcing division where he oversees the ongoing service delivery to NHS Trusts and Health Boards.
Ed Turner, Operations Co-ordinator
Ed has been with Brookson over 10 years, working in Customer Services and has now been with the NHS Operations team for just over a year. He is now responsible for delivering operations for the NHS team including timesheet and invoice processing, liaising with agencies and the NHS Trusts and answering finance queries in relation to NHS direct engagement payments. Tracey Downs, Operations Co-ordinator
Tracey has been with Brookson since April 2016 and has over 7 years’ experience of working in customer service and administration. She first gained experience within the on-boarding team before moving to focus on operational support. Tracey is responsible for Trusts timesheets and invoice management whilst dealing with any queries from agency Trusts and locums.
Rebecca Carty, Operations Co-ordinator
Rebecca joined Brookson as an Outsourcing Operations Co-ordinator with over 12 years’ experience within Customer Service and Operational Support. Her role includes offering support for agencies, clients and candidates within the NHS and outsourcing team for both Direct Engagement and Brookson’s VMS system.
Debbie Worrall, On-Boarding Co-ordinator
Debbie joined Brookson Direct in April 2015 bringing over 40 years’ experience working for several large companies within customer service management, operational support and administration. She is the first point of contact on the team with queries and provides welcome calls to assist first time users and ensure they get paid correctly and on time. Debbie is responsible for ensuring assignments are added to the Brookson Portal correctly by the agencies and is on hand to advise when required.
Paula Burbage, On-Boarding Co-ordinator
Paula has worked on the NHS Team since April 2016, prior to that she was a New Business Consultant at Brookson dealing with Contractors and setting up their Ltd companies and Umbrella solutions. Her main working experience is with the Banking and Financial services, having worked for Santander for over 20 years and Lehman Brothers. Paula is the first point of contact for Trusts, doctors and agencies to provide support and advice.
Nicola Brooksbank, On-Boarding Co-ordinator
Nicola has recently joined Brookson and works within the Outsourcing team. She has over ten years’ banking experience and even more working within customer service. Nicola provides support to trusts, doctors and agencies using or wanting to join the NHS portal.
Anita Carpenter, Senior Account Manager
Anita has worked alongside various NHS trusts since 2005 as an Operations Manager, Anita joined Brookson in April 2016 as a Senior Account Manager for the South Region, Anita works with our existing NHS clients as the main operational point of contact to ensure maximum through-put and savings are achieved and maintained. Anne Stewart, Senior Account Manager
Anne has 10 years’ experience working alongside the NHS in various capacities, as well as an Honours graduate in Management studies. Anne joined Brookson in 2016 as a Senior Account Manager, working with our existing NHS clients maintaining and building relationships, working with them to ensure maximum throughput and savings are achieved, as well as resolving any risks or blockers which may have arisen. Gordon Mellar, Project Manager
Gordon has over 30 years delivering software business change projects and programmes across multiple NHS sectors. A qualified Project Manager, Gordon joined Brookson as the Outsource Project Manager and is responsible for managing implementations within the Outsourcing division. Gordon works closely with the Implementation team to ensure the DE and VMS solutions are correctly configured and work in line with NHS Trust and Health Board requirements.
Andrew Bate, Implementation Co-ordinator – BI/MI Analyst
Andy has 6 years’ experience working in the Private Health industry before joining Brookson as an Implementation Co-ordinator. He specialises in business intelligence and Operation process builds for the NHS/Outsourcing team
Jonathon Graham, Implementation Coordinator
Joining Brookson in early 2015, Jonathon is responsible for the initial engagement with NHS trusts and seeks to identify their requirements to ensure Brookson effectively meet their needs. After graduating in Business and Enterprise management in 2010, Jonathon has built up a wealth of knowledge with 5 years’ experience in helping the NHS save money by streamlining efficiencies.
Emma Lowry, Implementation Co-ordinator
Emma has 2 years’ experience in software development for covering software support, installation and project management. A qualified Prince 2 Practioner and a graduate in Computer Games Development, Emma has joined Brookson as an Implementation Co-ordinator where she will use her coding background to help develop the Implementation team.
April Hewitt, Implementation Co-ordinator
April joined Brookson in November to assist with the rollout of VMS and Direct Engagement to all NHS Trusts. She is part of a team working to create a training strategy, develop training documentation and provide system testing on new releases and bug fixes. She also works collaboratively with different Trusts and builds relationships with key contacts to map out their training requirements.
